2023 Chase #2: southeast Texas 1/24/2023

 Here we go again, another messy setup in the south but this one was close to home.   Jumped on a few tornado warned cells near El Campo and Eagle Lake, nothing great... Got caught behind the main line and missed Pasadena/Deer Park tornado. Well on my way to goal of 100 chases this year, let's hurry up and get to June in the high plains.  

2023 Chase #1: Northern Louisiana

 My 1st chase of the year came extremely early this year over New Year's weekend.   Intercepted a rain wrapped tornado near Jonesboro LA, couldn't really see much, but it was good to get out again.

Late May 2019 update

February 23, 2019 - Chased a tornado warned storm in east central Mississippi.
April 6, 2019 - central Texas storms where I viewed at least 1 brief tornado
April 13, 2019 - northeast Louisiana, chased a tornadic storm which put down a rain wrapped tornado near Newellton, LA.  Ran across some damage but couldn't get a visual on the tornado through the rain.
April 17, 2019 - North Texas storms near Alvord, TX.  Some hailers that grew upscale quickly.
April 30, 2019 - Red River of TX/OK.  Watched 2 tornadoes from a distance that were near Byers, TX.
May 1, 2019 - Viewed a tornado from about 8 miles away that tracked south of Seymour, TX.  Also ran across tennis ball sized hail.
May 5, 2019 - Tahoka, TX tornado

May 6, 2019 - Severe Storms in central KS including tornadic supercell at night north of Greensburg.
May 7, 2019 - Tornadic storms near Amarillo and Tulia Texas.   Also a likely tornado near Gould, OK after dark.

May 17, 2019 - Tornadoes in sw Nebraska
May 18, 2019 - non severe storms
May 20, 2019 - missed Mangum, OK tornado by minutes
May 23, 2019 - supercells near Lubbock, TX
May 24, 2019 - bust in TX panhandle

Busy early May 2019

Early May has brought some decent setups to the southern plains.   Here's an updated list of chases and video from May 5th.
