2023 Chase #4: north TX bust

 Chased another powerful early spring storm system in TX.    Started west of DFW, got on a fast moving cell that went north of the city.  Nothing to show for.... on to the next one. 

2023 Chase #3: east TX panhandle February 26th

Ventured up to the far eastern panhandle for a powerful February storm system.  Stuck in cold low cloud deck most of the afternoon. Jumped on a few messy tornado warned storms during the afternoon but bailed after dark. 

 

2023 Chase #2: southeast Texas 1/24/2023

 Here we go again, another messy setup in the south but this one was close to home.   Jumped on a few tornado warned cells near El Campo and Eagle Lake, nothing great... Got caught behind the main line and missed Pasadena/Deer Park tornado. Well on my way to goal of 100 chases this year, let's hurry up and get to June in the high plains.  

2023 Chase #1: Northern Louisiana

 My 1st chase of the year came extremely early this year over New Year's weekend.   Intercepted a rain wrapped tornado near Jonesboro LA, couldn't really see much, but it was good to get out again.
