Ice Ahead, Storm Chaser Convention

Obviously its been a while since I've posted anything on here but since spring is right around the corner I thought I might try to get things started again. Looks like a chance for the first real winter weather event here in central OK this winter. Unfortunately the dominant precip type looks to be in the form of freezing rain. Latest HPC forecast for Monday-Tuesday shows high likelihood of accumulating ice during this event.

I believe the highest ice totals will be in parts of eastern OK, Arkansas, and Missouri but we could be in for some major problems in central Oklahoma as well.

I'll be heading to Denver in mid February for the 11th annual Storm Chasers Convention. This will be my first time attending and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the speakers along with other chasers. http://chaserconvention.com/

I wonder if classes will be cancelled this week. Tuesday looks likely (and I don't have any classes that day anyways) but Monday seems iffy. Morning no, afternoon maybe.

Anyways have fun at the Con, Sam.
